About the role
The warehouse department is fast paced and forms an essential part of the depot in delivering the right products to our customers on time.
In this role you will ensure that customer order documentation is processed thoroughly and efficiently on a daily basis.
The role involves working with the voice management console to release orders for picking, printing and monitoring alerts, liaising with customer service and actioning cancellations, preparing TFT’s (deliveries that are ordered Today For Today) and other customer requests. Using our Minster program, you will be relied upon to carefully and accurately amend orders following stock shortages and you will print invoices for the following day deliveries, liaising with transport.
You will work closely with the Warehouse Managers and Supervisors to communicate to each warehouse function, gather and enter pick volumes onto established spreadsheet.
This role will also involve the examination of the time and attendance system and carry out payroll functions on a daily basis to ensure staff payroll is completed to the tight deadlines required.
You will need
The successful candidate must have experience with management of time and attendance and payroll systems, excellent PC skills and telephone manner.
Although previous experience in operating equipment e.g. printer, photocopier would be advantageous, it is not essential, as full training will be given. Full training will also be given on the voice management console. You will be required to be flexible in your hours of work if needed and will occasionally be required to cover other members of the team at an earlier start time.
Specific Hours Information: Day shift, 40 hours per week.
